Hello archonix,
You might remember me from unspiek’s blogsite. I am in need of imediate help and knew of three persons to turn to: Gandalf, Sir Henry and you - but as you are in the branch of “rådgivning” and have better knowledge of my ‘country of origin’ you seemed to be the best person to turn to. I need to get help with an english text of some 15 lines to be transformed from BADENGLISH to GOODENGLISH. You can do it all in 7 minutes. Is that OK?
You see I am gonna start a small counterjihad by myself and some of those I thought were allies already treat me as : we say here: en “rättshaverist” (ask you wife!) - my dictionary calls it “a dogmatic (opinionated) person” - and really that is not yet the case. I might start
a big buzz instead - but it is not easy doing it all alone. The advises I have got from a few prominents are : lie low - but that is dhimmitude!.

Sounds like you are about to become the poster boy for why it is a good idea not to get too counter or co-dependent with the people you love or associate with…because you end up being the “blame poster boy”!!! God Speed through your current plight. wink

I would have called it more praising with faint dammes.

Evidently in my attempt to mediate I stepped over the line. Unlike you I can’t even fall back on the “eye of the beholder” thing, as my comments were not easy to misinterpret. So…

Well, repent at leisure, as they say. He should have accepted your apoogy. I shouldn’t have said the things I said. Perhaps, eventually, you can accept mine.

I don’t think I’ve ever been so thoroughly damned with faint praise — it it was even praise — in your comment on Jihad Watch.

Now we have established that I go off half-cocked and that my husband is the better writer.

Robert has also specified that my apology, which I worked on carefully, was insufficient to meet the seriousness of my crimes.

Remind me to take you off my list of possible eulogists for my funeral, which will be sooner rather than later if LGF has its way.

A pox on all of you (see, there’s my “passion” you mentioned).

That’s a very good point that I’d never considered before. Another way of putting it would be that what we fight against defines what we are for.

However, we wouldn’t have to fight, to have a Counter Jihad, if we never let the buggers into our homes in the first place. The enemy is only Islam because a greater enemy let that Trojan Horse through our gates.

I think you should keep commenting.

As an Australian I have a kind of distaste for Poms but I think that is because they seem so lame and sarcastic without substance. You on the other hand have something to offer.

Gotta love the mob as rowdy as it gets.
